Moving to my own Apartment in Dartmouth

My roommate decided to move to Halifax. However, I can't move to Halifax with her because it will be too far from where I work. If I live with her in Halifax, I would probably pay 550 or more. Halifax apartments are more expensive. Aside from that, I have to drive about 20 minutes to work and I have to pay for the toll fee at the bridge. I don't think it's good for me to move to Halifax so I decided to look for an apartment close to where I work.

I found the perfect place for me. It's just about 10-15 minutes from work. It's in a quiet neighborhood and it has an outdoor pool. It doesn't cost a fortune. It is perfect for a single person like me. I moved in just right before April 1st, 2018.

I hired a moving company I saw from Kijiji to move my things from my old to my new apartment. They charge per hour. I only have a few things. The only thing I needed them to move is my bedroom set.

Since I only have a bedroom set, I needed to get a few furniture from a Surplus shop in Dartmouth. I ordered a new couch, a dining table, and a mattress. They delivered it to my new place.

I had to assemble the coffee table and side tables. I had to put the mirror on the chest drawer. I also have to get my stuff out of the boxes and put them where they should be.

Moving is not easy especially if you have a lot of things to move. This is why I only bought a few kitchenwares just enough for me. I also had to go to get groceries for basic condiments, sauces, spices, rice, meats, and vegetables.

Edit: If you want to see what my apartment looks like inside, here is a video I took in the Summer of 2019.
