The Halifax Pride Parade 2016

According to Wikipedia, Pride parade are outdoor events celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) social and self acceptance, achievements, legal rights and pride.

My roommate heard about a parade happening in Halifax so we went over. At first, I did not know what this parade was all about.

From where I came from, there is no such thing as Pride Parade. This was my first time to see this event.

I see rainbow colors everywhere and rainbow flags. They were giving us souvenirs as well as rainbow bagels which is really cool.

This was a really fun day. Being new in this place, I am really missing home but Halifax is slowly growing in me.
